There are going to be 2 reactions/responses to this post coming from 2 different kinds of people. One of the reactions will result in negligent eye rolling and those people will stop reading after the next period and the second will be the person who reads on and wants to better themselves.
For the second group of people, congratulations for wanting to improve your lives and realizing that regardless of what we do know, we can always learn more and grow.
Investing in yourself always gives you a positive ROI. In-fact, I can’t think of anything that can consistently guarantee you a 100% return WITHOUT ANY RISK. Think about it this way, you want to learn how to buy and sell stocks. You rush to Barnes and Noble or pick up your eBook reader and purchase several books on stock investing. A few weeks later you’ll find yourself teaching people about what you read and learned. You start investing your hard-earned money smartly and confidently. You earn profit and grow your hard-earned money into even more money all because you decided to invest your time on yourself.
There are millions of people who would rather watch tv then pick up a book that could very well change their lives. Don’t believe me? The last book I read was bout 100 pages and it took me a little longer to complete simply because I kept distracting myself with what I read. This was an investing book and after learning a ton from the book I exercised my mental muscle, found a stock, bought and sold a call (for those of you that don’t know that this means, please read this) and made $1,500.
So if anyone out there doesn’t think spending a little time to read a tiny 100 page book to earn $1,500 isn’t worth it should immediately check themselves into the nearest asylum.
